I Already Have an Identity Card!

Yokatta! Today I have got my identity card (Bahasa Indonesia: Kartu Tanda Penduduk, KTP). I feel very satisfied with this. After being patient enough, I finally got an ID card. I've been waiting long enough for this. Some of my best friends will be happy about this, those who have been following my stories since last year.

The process of collecting my personal data (such as taking a photo of my face, retina scans of my eyes, scans of my fingerprints and taking my signature) for making this identity card was carried out on 3 May, but just today i got my card. Thankfully, there was no problems occurred.

My mother and I both went to the Manado City Citizenship and Civil Registration Office (Bahasa Indonesia: Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil, Disdukcapil) to make this card. In addition, my mother also made the latest version of the family card (Bahasa Indonesia: Kartu Keluarga, KK) with QR code which has been introduced since 2021 by the government and today it was also finished.

I'm so happy now that I have an ID card! With this card my mobility can be very easy in the future. I remember last year when I was really thinking about what if I make my ID card somewhere else (not in this city, Manado or in this province, North Sulawesi) later if one day I can't stand with my family anymore.

Story of the Day (Friday, 5 May, 2023)

Ah, two days ago and three days ago were tiring. I went with my mother to many places during the day. Many things have been made, I was so exhausted because of it. If it's like that, then I have to sleep for a long time and I made it yesterday even though yesterday my mother and I should have gone to many places to take care of many things but I can't. Long sleep after the body is very tired, I really need it.

Three days ago, Tuesday, I went with my mother to the immigration office to ask about information on making a passport to my sister then to the Manado UPBJJ-UT (Unit Program Belajar Jarak Jauh Universitas Terbuka, The Open University Distance Learning Program Center) office to ask about open university new student registration and tuition fees, then to the shop to buy lots of basic necessities. Two days ago, Wednesday, I went with my mother to civil registry office to make a KTP (Kartu Tanda Penduduk, Identity card) for me and to computer service place to check my mother's old PC and buy a new PC.

Yesterday, Thursday, my mother and I should have gone to the health center to get a letter of introduction to the ophthalmologist to check the myopia level of my eyes and then go to the Suzuki dealer to replace my mother's motorbike engine belt. But I didn't accompany my mother to make all of that, I was exhausted two and three days ago so I slept for a long time and didn't go to my mother's house at the morning.

You know, I try to write an article every day about my daily story then I post it on the internet but sometimes I'm really tired or I don't have time to write. So, understand if I can't post articles about my daily story every day. I'm a person who gets tired easily and I need a comfortable state to write long like this. I have scoliosis and that's one of the factors that makes it difficult for me to get comfortable.

Ah, you know, I have cut my hair four days ago, Monday, at night. I shortened my hair and cut my front hair to make bangs but I really regret cutting my front hair. I shortened my hair because I wanted to make an ID card so that my ID card photo would be neater. When at the civil registry office during a photo shoot, I made my hair have bangs, straight bangs. I also wore a tie for the photoshoot. I don't expect that many of my KTP photos will be good, this is a common problem for the Indonesian people if their KTP photos are bad. I'm really annoyed that I've cut my front hair, I really want straight bangs like Lalisa Manoban member of Blackpink.
